Women Behind the Plow preview

The Tri-County Tourism Alliance photo exhibit Women Behind the Plow has officially started its trek across the state. It is a hint at what will be fully revealed in the book of the same name. The book will be a compliment to Ewiger Saatz which has sold nearly 2,000 copies in a little over two years.

Ewiger Saatz is still available and be ordered online by clicking here.

Christmas is right around the corner hiding behind the very large flock of turkeys in my yard, and this book would be a great Christmas gift to anyone who loves food, history and Germans from Russia.

If you have not seen the exhibit Women Behind the Plow, here is an upcoming schedule. Also, if your organization wishes to schedule the exhibit in your area, please contact Carmen Rath-Wald at 701.754.2504 or carmen.rath.wald@ndsu.edu.

Women Behind the Plow Exhibit scheduled openings:

  • Until December 18 in Ashley, ND.
  • March 14 through April 22 – Germans from Russia Heritage Center.
