Maggie herself

Hi Sue,

My friend, Char Koepplin Wiest was in Wishek last week to visit her mom, Irene Just Koepplin and her aunt Maggie Just Herr. Char had just received her copy of Eviger Saatz in the mail the day before she left and brought it with her to Wishek.

Attached is a photo that Char sent to me of Maggie, age 93-years, with the book open to page 109 that tells the story of Maggie’s Cafe and her 58 years of service to the community.

By the way, my friend Char LOVES the book, not just because it chronicles her beloved Aunt Maggie. She loved the feeling of nostalgia, the stained recipes, the wonderful photos and has thoroughly enjoyed reading the interviews.

Well done, my friend!!

This is a GREAT BOOK! I love mine! I worked at Maggies Cafe, so did two of my sister’s, Fern Schuchard Martell, and Blanch Schuchard Deile a great cafe. (June Schuchard Burlack.)
